John presided over the VAE in a year when both the Essex and Stowe shows were great successes with more cars registered than ever before.
Johns’ words to the club on retiring from the job were: “Everyone’s been helpful to me in managing this position. It has been quite a challenge and I hope I have held the ship steady and straight ahead over the past year. There will always be alot of work ahead but we as a club can handle it if we work together…”.
