Robert Slade was a young man at the time and enjoyed driving his 1915 Model T Touring as well as entering it in various events of the VAE.
In recent years the VAE has had an occasional meet where members are offered the chance to drive a Model T. If one has never had the experience, it takes quite a bit of concentration and one can understand why some old timers who started out driving a “T” could never make the transition to other cars.
Perhaps we should try the teetor board game again in memory of those that could master it was a “T” like Bob.
