President in 1976 – Websterville, Vermont
Bob was the Chairman of the Stowe Meet in 1975 prior to being elected president. In this capacity he provided a continuum of excellence for this fast growing event which as still being held at Spruce Peak and was now limited to authentic cars manufactured befoer 1951.
During his year as president, the Stowe Meet was a National Bicentennial Event. Bob served in several capacities with VAE including activities and Wheel Tracks committees and is remembered for his talent for barbecuing at Gen Morgan’s picnics. His automobile interest centered around Model A Fords and he still owns one.
