The Vermont Auto Enthusiasts signature annual event is the Vermont Antique and Classic Car Meet, held each year during the second weekend in August at Farr’s Field, 2 miles west of Waterbury, VT on US Rt. 2.
This year’s show will be August 9, 10 and 11. Read on and download the brochure for more details on 2024’s 67th Vermont Antique and Classic Car Meet!
The eager volunteers of The Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts have worked very hard over the past year to put this event together.
On the field you will find a collection of hundreds of antique, classic and modern cars and trucks. There is a strong chance you will see a vehicle like one you had a connection to in past years. Maybe you will see a car that reminds you of a car you once owned, or a car your family owned when you were a kid.
You will also find one of the largest automotive Flea Markets in the northeast. If you are looking for a particular hard-to-find part, service, or tool, there is a good chance you will find it in the Flea Market.
Are you shopping for a car or truck? Check out the Car Corral. We have a large selection of vehicles looking for a new caretaker. Be sure to also check out the Vermont Crafters’ Tent.
Want a tasty bite to eat? We have a variety of food vendors on the field to choose from, something for almost every taste.
Please be aware that proceeds from this event go toward funding scholarships for students enrolled in Vermont’s sixteen high school technical centers.
If you have any questions or concerns, please stop by the Courtesy Tent.
Relax, and enjoy the show!
– David Sander, President
Where do the show’s admission fees go? Much of your admission fee goes to cover the costs of producing this event. But more importantly, a portion of your entrance fee goes to fund scholarships for high school, trade school and college students who possess an affinity for a career in the automotive trades. To date, the Vermont Auto Enthusiasts have contributed over $250,000 to worthy students here in Vermont. Thank you for your participation and making this event possible whether you are an attendee, entrant, volunteer, vendor or sponsor!
